The EDP-C2 is a fully electronic magnet controller designed for DC generator-powered electromagnets used on excavators, material handlers, and mobile cranes. SECURITY
Safety should never be a parameter to be overlooked. EDP-C2 excavator electromagnet controller was designed to increase safety of use.
- No arc is produced unless the electromagnet is disconnected.
- If the electromagnet is disconnected, the voltage drops at least from the generator, from 0 to 20 vdc, in less than half a second.
- Only 24 vdc manual control, instead of 220 vdc and more.
MAINTENANCE
Because the EDP-C2 is entirely electronic and contains no mechanical switching components, routine maintenance is virtually eliminated.
The controller continuously monitors its operating status and records common faults in internal memory. All controller inputs and outputs are displayed in real time, allowing operators and technicians to quickly diagnose system conditions.
Positive and negative voltage and current values are clearly identified using uppercase and lowercase characters for simplified troubleshooting.
In many cases, these diagnostics allow technical support to resolve issues over the phone, minimizing equipment downtime and eliminating unnecessary service calls.
INSTALLATION
The EDP-C2 has been designed for fast and straightforward installation.
Only a limited number of electrical connections are required, making installation quick and efficient.

CONFIGURATION
The EDP-C2 includes a simple keypad interface that allows users to adjust operating parameters for maximum performance.
